Sea World Adventures for K-2

Students in K–2 recently travelled to Sea World on an excursion. During their visit, they had the opportunity to see a variety of animals, including dolphins, seals, penguins, sharks and tropical fish. The students learnt interesting facts about marine life, and watched entertaining animal shows. Their curiosity was evident as they asked questions and interacted with the displays. The excitement on their faces was priceless, reflecting their joy and enthusiasm throughout the day. This memorable experience not only enhanced their understanding of the natural world but also encouraged their love for learning outside the classroom.

Official School Opening - 2 September 2026

The official school opening was held this morning with great enthusiasm, and we were honoured to have Minister Janelle Saffin in attendance to cut the ribbon and formally open our school. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this special occasion, particularly our amazing students whose energy and spirit truly made the event memorable (our school song sounded amazing). Your presence and support are greatly appreciated as we embark on this exciting new chapter together.

PSSA Small Schools Soccer Knockout 2026

Selected students in Year 3-6 competed in the annual PSSA soccer knockout at Crystal Creek Public School. We are incredibly proud of all the students, each player showed great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the field. Thank you for giving it your all and making our school proud!

ANZAC Day 2026

Thank you to all of the students and staff who attended the ANZAC Day service on Saturday. We are so proud of the respectful behaviour you showed throughout the service. You represented our school with pride and honoured the spirit of ANZAC beautifully.

Hockey Gala Day 2025

Students from years 3 to 6 participated in a hockey gala day organised by Hockey Tweed. This event gave them the chance to apply and showcase the hockey skills they have been developing during their regular weekly lessons. The gala day provided a practical and fun environment where they could work together with their peers, practice game strategies, and experience real match situations.

100 Days Smarter

Students in K/1 enjoyed dressing up and embodying the characteristics of a 100 year old, they participated in a variety of 100 educational activities, fostering their learning and creativity.

Tweed Community of Small Schools Athletics Carnival

Our students eagerly anticipate the annual athletics carnival, a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and school spirit. From running races to long jump, high jump, discus, and shot put, every student has the chance to compete, showcasing their skills and earning proud smiles along the way. Those who demonstrate exceptional talent within their age groups have the opportunity to qualify for our district athletics, representing our school with distinction. These carnivals not only highlight individual achievement but also strengthen connections and foster a sense of community among our network of schools.

Back home in 2026

After four years off-site, our school community is thrilled to be back home. The beginning of 2026 marked our return to a purpose-built campus, designed with modern, state-of-the-art facilities that truly support our students’ learning, wellbeing, and growth. Every space has been thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of today’s learners, with flexible and innovative environments that encourage collaboration and creativity. Being back on our home site, we are excited to embrace all the opportunities our new school offers and reconnect with our community once again.

There was great excitement as our school community gathered to witness the first module being craned into place. Returning to our home site, everyone watched with anticipation as our new purpose-built school began to take shape—marking a memorable milestone in our journey back.
